The time in which make news available to public has become almost instantly now. When speed becomes an overwhelming factor, then credibility comes into question more. When using social media for news make sure to use trust worthy sources and definitely use more than one to reassure that fact.

Generation Like Blog - Nick Hinchley
The video we watched in class, Generation Like, is a short PBS documentary that explains how social media is becoming a business, and people are out online to make money off you. The one concept from the film that stuck with me is the idea of 'Likes' being a new type of currency. The more likes you receive is the more you are promoting yourself and whatever else may be part of that post. For example if someone posts a selfie with a Nike hoodie on and it happens to get lots of likes, Nike may notice and realize that just by that one person posting a pic is advertising Nike and doesn't know it.
The amount of likes can generate something or someone into a online viral sensation and they could be exploiting/advertising companies and not knowing or receiving any type of gratitude from them. Its basically free advertisement.

Obesity Facts and Healthier Lifestyle Choices
A vital step to keeping yourself in a good shape and to prevent obesity is too workout and exercise. Obesity has become a national issue, according to CDC.gov almost 35% of the adult population in the nation is obese. More than 1/3 of American Adults are obese, the statistics are staggering especially when it can be prevented. Obesity is also affecting the youth, the CDC reports that 17% of the children between 2-19 are obese.
The state of Ohio does not rank well when it comes to Obesity level in the United States. StateOfObesity.org ranks Ohio as the 8th most obese state in the country at a rate of 32.6%
There is lots that can be done to prevent Obesity sometimes you just need some motivation though. I think the easiest way to start getting back in shape would be to just start working out even if its only for short amounts of time, and if your weight training it might not be the ideal weight you want to be at but you just keep working at it and you will be where you want to be. Everyone must start somewhere though.
A healthier lifestyle can also be made through eating better foods. Better foods as in lots of greens and protein. Start taking into consideration what your eating, watch out for all the fast food and starches because it does take a toll on your body in the long run. A healthy diet can go a long way, it will make you and your body feel a lot better.
